A Message from Dr. Shashi Kiran
“I have been practising law since 1982 and have witnessed how matrimonial disputes can affect individuals, children and families in profound ways.
Over the years, I have come to appreciate the importance of communication, mutual understanding and awareness of legal rights and responsibilities. In many situations, misunderstandings and unexpressed expectations contribute to the escalation of disputes. In others, deeper issues require appropriate legal intervention and protection.
Through ‘Samvad’, I wish to encourage young men and women to approach marriage with commitment and awareness, help married couples understand their difficulties, and promote informed, dignified and lawful ways of addressing matrimonial conflicts.
My endeavour is to create a platform where dialogue is encouraged, knowledge is shared, and every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
I believe that a better understanding of relationships and the law can help people make wiser choices for themselves and their families.
